When the electronic power steering (EPS) rack on certain Ram 1500 trucks fails and causes changes in steering effort, vibrations, heaviness in the steering wheel, or other issues, don’t settle for a remanufactured replacement. This OE FIX EPS rack assembly is constructed using 100% new components.
It features redesigned electronics with additional surge protection and optimized component layout to reduce heat and electrical interference. A UV40 protective coating is applied to the PCB to help resist contamination or malfunction due to water, salt, dust, and chemicals.
This FMVSS-compliant solution has undergone extensive testing including try-on, corrosion, water intrusion, and life-cycle testing to ensure a quality fit and long service life.
No dealer programming required. Installation is straightforward using a calibration tool commonly available at independent repair shops. Proprietary software mimics all original equipment EPS rack functionality.
